The 14th annual MHEA Field Day for grades 5 year-K thru 6th will be on Friday, April 18 (rain date April 25) at Buckhead Creek*, a recreational facility owned by Faith Baptist Church. You must be an MHEA member to participate. Check-in begins at 9:30 am; games begin at 10:00 am. Parents must stay to cheer on their children. The MHEA ETA Chapter of Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society will once again host the activities. Participants will enjoy various games, relays, and competitions appropriate for their age level. All participants will be awarded ribbons and there will be some door prizes. Awards will be given out by grade as each grade completes the round of activities. Cost is $4 per student, $12 maximum per family. Payment must accompany registration. Pre-registration for all ages is required. There will be NO registration at the door.
The postmark deadline for registration and payment is Wednesday, April 2. Make check payable to MHEA and mail along with the form below. For rain date information, check the website before 7:30 am that day. Please do not call the church. *Buckhead Creek is located at 8300 Highway 70 about a mile from Faith Baptist Church. Continue north on Germantown Road past the church. At the stop light at Highway 70 take a right. The park is on the left about a half mile down the road.
