Used Book Sale

The MHEA Used Book Sale and Children’s Market Place will be held Tuesday, May 20, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, at First Baptist Church, Millington (corner of West Union and Hwy 51). There will be an admission fee at the door of $1, with a family maximum of $5 (this does not include vendors). This fee will also apply to children.

Vendor reservation information: Set-up begins at 9:00 am. There are at least 100 tables available.

MHEA members reservation includes (no exceptions): whole table, 2 chairs, and 2 person admission, $10; half table, 1 chair, and 1 person admission, $6.

Non-MHEA members reservation includes (no exceptions): whole table, 2 chairs, and 2 person admission, $12; half table, 1 chair, and 1 person admission, $8.

You cannot bring your own tables or chairs. There are no electrical outlets available for use. There is a limit of 4 tables per reservation. It is necessary to use the registration form below and we will begin taking reservations Sunday, April 1. All reservations must be postmarked by Tuesday, May 1. These will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Only used curriculum and used educational supplies may be sold.

We are very excited to offer a new opportunity for homeschool children to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. A Children’s Market Place is being added to the used book sale to showcase and sell their non-curriculum items (i.e. snacks, baked goods, crafts, etc.). Children must be at least 12 years-old, supervised by parent on-site and pre-registered for the Children’s Market Place. There will be 36 spaces available (1/3 of an 8 ft. table and 1 chair) and reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of a space is $3 for both MHEA members and non-members. No electrical outlets will be available. Please remember that the Children’s Market Place is for children only to sell their goods.

If you have any questions you may email UsedBookSale@MemphisHomeschool.org. Please do not call the church.
