Exhibitor Information

Dear Potential Exhibitor:

MHEA is now planning for our 22nd annual conference and curriculum fair. The dates are June 20-21, 2008. This year we are excited about many changes. The most exciting is that our conference and curriculum fair will be held at the Agricenter in Memphis, Tennessee. It is a wonderful location and has lots and lots of space. All our exhibitors will be together in one huge room. The booth spaces will have pipe and drape, as well as skirted tablecloths. We are expecting a great turn out and a lot of fun.

When you register for our conference and curriculum fair we will add a link to your company’s website on MHEA’s website. This is great advertisement and will let people know in advance which exhibitors will be there.

Come and join us for an exciting conference and curriculum fair as MHEA continues to minister to the home school community in the Memphis area. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Exhibit Hall Hours
Friday, June 20, 12:00-8:00p.m.
Saturday, June 21, 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m.
We have lots of workshops and shopping time.

Exhibit Hall Set Up & Take Down
Set up:
Thurs., June 19, 3:00-8:00p.m.
Fri., June 20, 8:00-11:30a.m.
Tear down:
Sat., June 21, 4:00-6:00p.m.

Booth Space
Each 10ft.X10ft. booth space includes 1 table, 2 chairs, tablecloth ,and a business sign.
Extra tables, a maximum of 2 per booth, are $20.00 per table with table cloth or $10.00 without table cloth. Each booth space is $250.00 if postmarked by 5/30/08. All new exhibitors must include a current catalog or a detailed description of their products or services with their application form.

Table Space
One 8’ table (approx.50 sq. ft. space) cost $150.00 for the first table if postmarked by 5/30/08.
Additional 8’ table spaces are $100.00 each.
(maximum of 2)
One-half table (8’ table shared with another exhibitor) is $75.00.



Exhibitor Workshops
A limited number of 60-minute exhibitor workshops are available both Friday and Saturday.
Fees are: $85.00 for one session
$150.00 for two sessions
We reserve the right to schedule sessions as space, time, and need permits. Include an audiocassette tape of your workshop, if available.

Advertising
Everyone registered for the conference will receive a program. Advertising space in the program is available to both exhibitors and non-exhibitors. All ads must be camera-ready, black & white, and are subject to approval by MHEA. Ads should be submitted on an 8X11 sheet of flat, unfolded paper in a protected envelope. The ad can also be submitted on disk or emailed. Include your name and phone number.

Half page: $80.00
Quarter page: $45.00
Business card ad: $25.00

Shopping Bags
Shopping bags with fliers and brochures will be handed out to attendees as they arrive at the conference. These bags are being handled by Tim’s Great Stuff Inc. again this year. You may contact them at www.timsgreatstuff.com or call at 302-737-3673. This is a great way to advertise your company even if you can’t attend the curriculum fair.

Company Registration
Each company registering is entitled to free admission for two of your representatives. They will receive a wristband that will recognize them as exhibitors and allow them to enter the conference sessions. There is a $25.00 fee for each representative beyond two.

Used Books
This curriculum fair is for new books only. No used books are to be sold.

Children
Children are allowed into our conference with their parents all day Friday. On Saturday no children under 13, except nursing babies are allowed.

Exhibitor Refreshments
A meal on Friday night and a continental breakfast on Saturday will be furnished free of charge to the exhibitors. If you cannot get away your meal can be delivered to your booth. Lunch on Saturday may be purchased from our concession stand.

We will contact you once we have received your registration and give you information on how we will link you onto our website. The earlier you send in your registration the longer you will be posted on our site.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing. There will be a $25.00 handling fee charged for cancellations made before March 20th.
A 50% refund will be given if cancellation is made between March 20th and May 20th.
If cancellation is made after May 20th there will be no refund.
