The MHEA newsletter News & Views is a monthly publication. Part of your annual membership dues to MHEA covers your subscription to News & Views. Each month you will find MHEA announcements and event listings, support group contacts and event listings, homeschool related articles and events, MHEA sports information, commercial and classified ads and much more. The advertising in the newsletter helps to defray a large part of the cost of producing the newsletter. Information on advertising is listed below.
News Submissions
All news submissions must be received by the 10th of the month prior to publication.
Classified and Display Ads
A copy of each ad, along with payment and a completed Ad Submission Form for each must be postmarked by the 1st of the month prior to publication. Artwork or any copy-ready item should be submitted either as a TIFF or BMP file format by email or on diskette, or as a flat hard-copy original unfolded in an envelope large enough to protect it. There is a $20 set up fee for display ads which are not provided copy-ready.
Ad Rates
Classified ads for MHEA Marketplace are for MHEA members only and cost $5 for every 50 words per ad (no prorating); classified ads for non-members are $5 for every 25 words per ad (no prorating). Display ad rates: full-page portrait vertical - $200; half-page landscape horizontal - $100; fourth-page portrait vertical - $80; eighth-page landscape horizontal - $40.
All payments are final.
